Post-conference workshop

Risk Management - a practical approach in a changing market
Wednesday 2 April 2008

Led by:
Phil Keown, Head of Technology Risk Services UK, Grant Thornton

About the Workshop

The Telecoms industry has changed radically over the last few years, and continues to do so. With rapid growth in virtual network models, technology convergence and still-emerging models of content provision, the risk landscape for telecoms providers has never been more complex.

This workshop is intended to be a practical and hand-on session, through which practitioners can both share their experiences of risk identification and profiling, and through which the group will evolve common views of the wide risks faced across the industry, some common responses to those risks, and ideas about what nature of assurance is needed.

We want participants to be as open as possible about the issues their companies face, and to be prepared to contribute to what could be genuine thought leadership for the industry.
